Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

David and Jerry discuss PDAs and Linux

Abstract

Christoph is unable to make it this month, so Jerry Feldman and David Kramer will fill in for him. David will talk about the Sharp Zaurus and the OpenZaurus software, and about the new Nokia 770 Linux-based pocket PC. Jerry will talk about Linux tools for syncing with PalmOS devices, such as JPilot and pilot-link, and perhaps talk a bit about udev.

Bio

David Kramer is a veteran UNIX/Linux Software Engineer, BLU presenter, and SysAdmin.
