Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

About Bradford J. Snow

Brad is a senior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing his Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering; he's also a former President of WPI's ACM Student Chapter. Brad has been designing a Wearable Virtual Course Notebook (Wearbook) application to be used by the student in the classroom. Key features are ability to capture low frame rate video and audio streams, snapshot pictures, search capabilities, context awareness, and indexing of media streams against textual notes. In addition Brad has been designing a StrongARM SA-1110 board for wearable computing use.
