Barry's Directions

Saugus does not have a commuter rail stop. There is a commuter rail stop in Lynn, and there is one in Wakefield, they are on two seperate lines. There are some MBTA buses that run out that way; however, I don't know what the Saturday schedule is, or how they connect.

If you are coming in Route 128/95, you would want to get off at exit 43, and head for Saugus/Lynn on Walnut street (from the South a right, from the North a left), and go through the set of traffic lights. It will be about 1-1/2 miles down on your right hand side, if you see a Kmart/Stop&Shop on the right before you go over the bridge, you have gone about 800 yards to far. If you are coming in on Route 1, you would want to get off on the Walnut Street Exit, heading for Lynnfield/Wakefield (from the South go under the bridge and up and over, from the north just continue along), you are now on Walnut Street, and it will be on your left about 700 yards up the road. There is a "Little Green" sign identifying the Camp. It is on a dirt road, that is about 500 yards long to get to the lodge.

I have not been to the camp directly, but drive by the location four or five times a week. I will trrya and get out their tomorrow night, and let you know if there are anymore added details I can provide for the journey.

One thing to note, if anyone is coming in by train, that stops in Boston at South Ststion, they will have to transfere to North Station, inorder to catch a train to Lynn. Thats the wonderful train system in Boston!
