How to run an X-terminal with LINUX?

No special software; the Slackware and other distributions contain a
full set of the X11r6 client applications, along with the libraries to
compile others you create or download off the net.  You will want to
study up on how to turn on access to your X terminal; a good place to
start is the XFree86-HOWTO:
