I'm running the Slackware version of Linux on my machine and am trying to get Ftape to go. The module loads at boot time and all the needed devices are there such as rft0, rft1, nrft0, nrft1, etc.

However, when I go to execute a tape rewind using: "mt -f/dev/rft0 rewind" I get a "mt: /dev/rft0: No such device".

I'm using a Colardo tape backup system attached to my floppy controller.

Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks.
Vin
