Booting Linux on second hardrive

Subject: Booting Linux on second hardrive

I just added another hardrive to my system and would like to install and
boot Linux from my second harddrive, which, in this case, is the slave
drive. If I create a boot floppy, I should be able to do this, no problem,
right?
