Certifying Linux

Regarding the last lecture held by the BLU group, there is an edition of
Linux that has been FIPS 151-2 (which includes Posix.1). There was an
article in the August 96 edition of the Linux Journal on it. It was
done by a group in Germany named Unifix, which is somehow associated
with a group called Lasermoon in the UK. Their version is called
Linux-FT, and the 6 CD set is $99. They claim ISO/IEC 9899:1990
certification of the C compiler, and POSIX.1 FIPS 151-2 certification.
This outfit is a member of X/Open, and is going for Unix branding.

Contacts were listed as info at dbledsk.remcomp.fr and http://www.lasermoon.co.uk.
