New Hampshire INTERNET SIG Meeting, Tuesday, July 1, 1997 - IPV6 and you

When: Tuesday July 1, 1997 7PM
Where: Nashua, NH Public Library, 2 Court St, Nashua, NH.
Topic: IPV6-The new Internet Protocol
Speaker: Jim Bound, a Consulting Engineer and the IPv6 Technical
         Leader at Digital Equipment Corporation.

The NH INTERNET SIG (Special Interest Group) welcomes you to its
monthly meeting, the first Tuesday of every month.

The next meeting examines IPV6, the new Internet protocol. While this
may
be a technical subject, it is something that affects all Internet users
from the people that write code for the routers to the end users who get
email and surf the net. Some of the features that are built in may
provide
better security. Jim is responsible for the overall architecture,
design,
and development of Digital's IPv6 implementation on Alpha Digital UNIX
and
consults across all product groups implementing IPv6. As a member of the
IETF, Jim was one of the people involved in the design of IPV6.

Also, please note that Jim will be speaking at the joint Boston Linux
and
ISIG meeting on August 20th at MIT.
