Looking for something

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good site to get
anything for my linux machine that would have to do w/ it either reading
.aiff or .wav files or even encoding and decoding devices for both .wav
and .mp3 files. It would greatly appreciated, I have tried
http://rpmfind.net but with no luck. So if anyone knows of a good site,
I would love to know about it. Thank
Sincerely,
James <any1 at bu.edu>
