CD-R software

Start with the HOWTO for CD-R.  The "cdrecord" program has active development,
while "cdwrite" has been essentially abandoned.  There are some neat utilities
available at Sunsite and elsewhere, particularly "isodump" for making images of
CDs that you want to copy with "cdrecord."

Note also that "cdrecord" has been ported to other platforms, including OS/2.
