Disk partitioning and swap

Yes, totally agree here.

There should be a new, faster package manager. I downloaded 2.1, but 
have not installed it. I am currently installing Windows98 on my wife's 
system, and it is a real pain. I have a 10MB hard drive and I am doing a 
clean install. I would love to get her onto Linux, but there is little chance.
