I have bought stuff from cheap bytes. Right now they have SuSE at $34.95. I
also wanted the official SuSE release with the book et. al. I have been
recommending SuSE since I installed 6.0 after the last installfest, but I
wanted to look at the complete package. I do recommend Cheap Bytes for
people who want a distribution on CDs. I mentioned that I had received a
Debian Distribution from them, where one of the "Binary 2" CD was actually a
duplicate of the "Binary 1". They immediately responded to my email and sent
me another "Binary 1". In Debian, the contents of the Binary 2 CD is the
non-free tree, which contains libraries and other dependencies needed by
some of the commercial packages. All in all, for the price, Cheap Bytes is
prety decent.
