Good place to shop for IC's

Greetings,

for some odd reason, I want to break out my bread-board and cobble
together a relay-driven port-select box to switch between various
composite video input sources. I.E. I want to place a few outdoor
cameras around the house and have my system play switch-a-roo much
like a security monitor. Then I'll add on outdoor temperature
sensors, a GPS based time server, and ... eventually having a cool
little weather station.

And so, I need ideas on where to get little cameras (B&W will do fine),
and a place to shop for little relays and IC's.

Comments?

I don't know why I think I have time for this but it might be fun to
talk about. I saw BJ's is selling a little security gizmo (1 camera
with built-in motion sensor) for $89.
