Majordomo digest question

One of the lists on our server was configured to trigger the digest either
on a threshold or every other day. I had posted the Linux announcement to
several mailing lists, and the digest for that list actually came out last
night.
I am not sure what Joe had it configured to, because he changed it last
night.
digest_maxdays      =   1
digest_maxlines     =

I think he had digest_maxdays set to 2. I persoanlly like to have
digest_maxlines set as well as digest_maxdays so that we can limit the size
of the digests, but trigger the digest at least once every N days even if we
have fewer than the maxlines. Has anyone had any experience with the
maxdays. I know the maxlines works fine.
