BTW, submissions that are already marked up in HTML (PER THE 
GUIDELINES!!) tend to be posted more quickly than those I have

Well, so far it looks like I'm outvoted, but I will throw out 
the idea
that as people post to the list, this opens up the door to 
headhunters (Hi
Lori! :) to sign up for the list and then post a slew of 
messages about
jobs.

I think it's a BAD idea...
