a curse on Microsoft Outlook

I wonder why people are using Outlook at all.
Myself seen at least half dozen cases when it crashed and *all* mails
gone (not mine, I always use pine). The damn thing stores *everything* in
a single file and this cant be read outside Outlook. So, if there is a
crash, even if you reinstall, even Bill cant help.

Its true that Outlook has lots of useful features, but isnt there a
question of reliability/stability too?

Also it does have compatibility problems too with other mailers,
especially if you send attachments.

Thank God, unlike in the case of Win or IE, we have ample options to
choose from, in the email client segment. Else M$ would have made Outlook
as the defacto std of email-clients!!

Just my 2c..

Thanks
Oommen.

<mark>Your messages are being sent in both plain text and HTML. Reading that one
