Linux on Sony Vaio 505HS notebook success

This little notebook computer seems to give most people
headaches trying to install Linux.

I did manage to install Linux-Mandrake on it, and I
have the sound card (with OSS drivers), PCMCIA CDROM,
video card, and built-in EthernetExpress 100 working.

I installed using the built-in ethernet port, snarfing
files off another workstation I have, using a late
snapshot of Mandrake's 'cooker', which is sort of
a work-in-progress of the next version. Read, volatile. :^)

Haven't played with the power management stuff yet.

Anyways, if anyone has one of these, and wants some tips...
It's a very cool slim notebook.
