What happened?

I was running OK yesterday and today my screen has changed. Running
RedHat Linux 6.1
Yesterday my prompt in xterm looked like:
[Guest @ Issac Guest]$

and Today it looks like:
bash$

When I do a pwd it tells me:
/home/Guest

But what happened to my shell prompt? and how do I get it back?
