Perhaps a reallllly studid question

So here goes;

    While I have a great overview of a lot of things, I don't have a
great deal of experience building and managing networks other than my
own personal and thus small systems. And while I know a fair amount
about Linux, I can't program in C (yet) and largely rely on GUI
management tools except when that won't work. Worst of all, my training
has not been in computer systems; what I do know is largely learned on
my own and those are targeted to specific projects.
    But I want and need to learn as much as I can. Can anyone think of a
job in the Waltham to Woburn strip of 128 where I might have an
opportunity to learn on the job using my limited skills? I'm a fast
learner when given the right tools and opportunities.

Thanks!
