Sony VAIO Laptops



An update.. I purchased a Sony VAIO Z505RX from clearanceclub.com
(Refurbished).. shrank down the Windows 98 partition and installed slackware
7.1 linux using zipslack on a UMSDOS partition and then fdisk'ed and
creating a linux partition.. worked out great..

Thanks for the pointers below, the experiences of others with the same or
similar laptop made a big difference..
