KDE vs. Gnome

Remember - one does not need to have kde or gnome to run most kde or gnome apps. 
gftp and kshisenso run perfectly well under blackbox (even the new,
kde-independent one)

p.s.  If you are curious about blackbox, go for the alpha .6.0.3 version.  It
claims to be in alpha, but I found it more stable then kde1.2
