Changing SPARC 5 boot device (SCSI ID)

No... you can give them whatever SCSI ID's you want, but generally the
hard drive (or drives) gets the highest priority on the SCSI bus, other
than the controller itself, and then other devices like the CD and tape
get lower priorities.  The controller gets ID 7, and usually you would
give the hard disk ID 6.  This isn't a hard-and-fast rule though, and you
can generally assign any device any ID you want to, so long as they don't
conflict.
