Canvas7 4 Linux

I downloaded a demo version of Canvas7
(http://www.deneba.com/download/cv7_linux_beta/linux_dnld.html)
last night. It seemed pretty slick until I tried to save a file. The canvas
windows went wild and locked up my session but good, just like windows of
old.

Fortunately, there is cntl-alt-F6 which gave me a new session where I could
kill the offending app. Try that in windows!!

I thought it was pretty annoying behavior in an otherwise exciting piece of
software. Has anyone else encountered this?
