Subject: For internal network use

Hi all,

I've a gateway doing IP Masq and it's connected to a few clients using hub. I need a program to constantly check the clients. If they try to access other clients on the internal network, I need to run a script to make a beep sound. If they try to access external world (internet), I need to run another script to make another type of sound. Anyone can help by telling me where to get this program? or how to write this program? (I'm new to linux, so please help)
