Microsoft hits new ethical low point?

The same Government that, according to law, cannot own copyright on anything 
they produce (it must be public domain - however, contractor produced stuff 
can be copyrighted, with the Gov't getting perpetual rights).

 To overwrite, usually unintentionally: "I
   walked off the end of the array and clobbered the stack."  Compare
   mung, scribble, trash, and
