Brings to mind an old firesign theater album with Groucho Marx and John
Lennon on the cover, touting Marxism-Leninism as good base material from
which to spring a joke or two...

Dunno about that, but I did read something years  ago  claiming  that
Karl  was  a distant relative of the Marx brothers.  I don't remember
the relationship, however.  Of course, men who write as seriously  as
he did are generally not allowed to have a sense of humor.
