Thanks.  A lot easier than getting my wife to not log in as
Administrator...

I tried setting up an Administrator login on my WinME box, deleteing the
printer and adding it again, and I can print.  So it has to be either a
difference between WimME and WinNT, or somehow it likes 192.168.1.2
better than 192.168.1.7.

maybe I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the print driver on max.
