routers vs WAN vs T1 vs dialup

I forgot to mention in my original post that our office is out in the 
boonies.  No DSL or cable available.

And, given the savings Net2000 is promising on long distance charges, our
phone bill goes down by $600 a month.

But it sounds so far to me that there's not much more for me to do, since
I've already set a firewall/mail host for my static IP address on the
demand dialup PPP link.  It would seem that all that'll be different is 
the media.  Software changes for my DNS server (used only by my internal
computers), mail server, etc., should involve only name changes (different
IP address, different domain name).
