Boston Linux Meeting Wednesday, May 16, 2001 Wearable Computing

Topic:  Wearable Computing at WPI

This presentation will include discussion on various issues related to 
wearable computing, Linux, and specifics on Brad's projects. Topics are:

     Human Computer Interface (HCI) design for wearable software

        1.General challenges and goals 
        2.How Wearbook addressed these challenges 
        3.Reasoning behind Wearbook design

     StrongARM Based Wearable Computing

        1.Linux on StrongARM 
        2.Developing wearable computing applications for StrongARM Linux 
        3.Cross-compilers, X Windows, Microwindows, and FLTK

MIT is T accessable from the MIT/Kendall stop on the Red Line.  
There is quite a bit of construction adjacent to the East Parking garage on 
the corner of Vassar and Main Sts. The entrance to the parking area has
