Print problem

I need a little help with a problem that is probably an oversight on my
part...

I have an HP 4100DN (Duplex | Network) on a LAN that is stand alone.
Workstation OS is RedHat 7.1.

I have set up my printconf-gui to reflect the Queue name: HP4100DN, Queue
Type as a JetDirect Printer with an IP 192.168.1.5 and Port 9100, Printer
Driver as LaserJet 4050 (I?ve also tried LaserJet 4, 4 Plus, 4000, 4L, etc),
Driver Options are default.

I applied changes and restarted LPD (lpd restart succeeded)

When trying to print a Test (Print Postscript Test Page) I get the error:
?There was an error trying to print the test page?.

When looking at the Network Configurator it reads:
Under the Names tab:
Hostname: localhost.localdomain
Domain: ne.mediaone.net
Search for hostnames in additional domains: medianone.net
Nameservers: 24.218.0.228, 24.128.60.8, 24.128.1.80
Under the Hosts tab:
The IP address of the printer along with the name and nickname, server0, 1 &
2 IP?s, names and finally localhost 127.0.0.1
Under the Interfaces tab:
Interface: lo IP: 127.0.0.1 proto: none atboot: yes active: active
Interface: eth0: IP <blank> proto: dhcp atboot: yes active: active

When trying to Ping or traceroute the printer IP 192.168.1.5 I am faced with
a ?Destination Host Unreachable?
It appears that the address ?From? is a Mediaone IP (65.96.224.1)

Mediaone is my internet provider ? do I need ne.mediaone.net as a Domain?
