@Home

I think ATT Broadband is a big umbrella for their broadband network which
is made up of a lot of little networks depending on your location and when
they brought that area of the network online.

I don't think I will be affected, though I did lose connectivity last
night at around 2:00am (might have been a fluke). My hostname is
somemacaddress.ne.mediaone.net and I never use their email, so I don't
know offhand what my email address would be.

Slashdot had an article a few days ago about the @home thing and there
were a bunch of comments. After reading them and the vague ATT Broadband
website on the @home thing, I came to the conclusion that there isn't an
accurate litmus test as to whether you're going to be affected and exactly
how until after the fact.

Course, the information seems to change hourly, so I don't know if I would
come to the same conclusion now that I did yesterday.
