Looking for Macintosh parts...



I recall that the CD-ROM driver in MacOS 7.6.1 runs any CD-ROM drive while many
later versions don't. Then again, isn't the 5300 series using ATA drives? Either
way, Mark will know. He'll be back from vacation tomorrow or Thursday, so just
email him.

But I do know that you'll want to upgrade the 8.5 to 8.6 and that used to be
a free upgrade from the Apple website.
