wu-ftpd and telent

Hi all,

I set the ftp server with RedHat 7.1.
The ftp server take a long time, after that things run smooth.
I tried ftp with other system in the same hub, it took at least 5 minutes.
Even I use ftp localhost from local machine and it took at least 3-5 minutes.
I modified /etc/xinetd.d/wu-ftpd, deleted USERID on log_on_success and log_on_failure.
I use the command: chkconfig --list, the ipchain is off.
Is there any way to solve or what I did anything wrong ?
sometimes the telnet also took longer time, I don't know why and there are no firewall between both systems.

Can anyone help, please.

Peter Lee
