Digital Camers WRT: Smart Media vs. CF media

Andy,

I have a pretty nice Sony digital camera that is was given to me on loan
from my employer. I have only used it with 2.4 kernels but once you have
the usb-storage drive compiled it mounts up fine. The older 2.4 kernels
(like the stock redhat 7.1) will only read from the memory stick
(R). The new kernels (ie. 2.4.17) can delete/write to the memory stick
as well as reading from it.

Jon

P.S. For anyone who cares... I love the sony, but it seems to have some
white balance issues when taking pics in doors. I can't remember the model
number off the top of my head.
