compact flash

OK. I've been putting this off for a while, now I think I'll tackle the
issue.

I'm running Debian 2.4.2 kernel on a laptop. When I put my CF sleeve
into my PCMCIA slot, I get this message in /var/log/daemon.log:

Mar 19 15:31:53 mebius cardmgr[222]: socket 0: ATA/IDE Fixed Disk
Mar 19 15:31:53 mebius cardmgr[222]: executing: 'modprobe ide-cs'
Mar 19 15:31:53 mebius cardmgr[222]: + modprobe: Can't locate module ide-cs
Mar 19 15:31:53 mebius cardmgr[222]: modprobe exited with status 255
Mar 19 15:31:53 mebius cardmgr[222]: module
/lib/modules/2.4.2/pcmcia/ide-cs.o not available
Mar 19 15:31:54 mebius cardmgr[222]: get dev info on socket 0 failed:
Resource temporarily unavailable

The only ide-cs I can find is
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.2/drivers/ide/ide-cs.c
Do I need to compile this file? How.

Assuming I get this working, what mount point will my cf card show up on?

TIA
Joel
