HELP: Problems mounting Windows disk under Linux (TIVO)

Here's more information on the problem I'm experiencing:

When I boot up, I see this message:

block 0 has signature c033 instead of 1492
unknown partition table

So, I think it's a question of how to properly partition and format the
disk for Windows so that it can be used under Linux. Ideas??

Thanks,
Robert
