Verizon DSL question

IIRC, I knew someone who had Verizon DSL in Lexington and I believe he
mentioned that it used pppoe. That sounds like something an ILEC would use.
But most routers-in-a-box handle this without any problem these days. My
Linksys has handled PPPoE for the year or so I've had it.
