Domain stealing

I had dinner last night with Pat Tomey (who runs a few user groups). He had
his domain hijacked.

On Network Solutions (Verisign) when you use the mail-to method someone can
update the domain and use 2 email addresses, yours and theirs. Since both
of you get confirmation, whoever responds first wins. I would suggest that
anyone who has a domain with Verisign use one of their more secure methods,
like PGP.
