RMS first asked us to change the name of our group in 1995. We spent about 
an hour of our next volunteer meeting discussing his request, and 
ultimately
decided not to. Since then, I've bumped into RMS maybe four or five times 
at the LinuxWorld Expos and the Atlanta Linux shows, and he's repeated the 
request each time, and spoke at length about GNU/Linux to the exclusion of 
the IP issues I would have liked to discuss with him.
