The race to GCC 3

That is indeed what I meant; a distribution where:

1. GCC 3.x is the primary compiler.
2. The binaries that come with the distribution are built with GCC 3.x.

So far as I know, Mandrake 9.0 is the first released (not beta) distribution to meet that requirement, but it won't be alone for long.
