DHCP question



I've seen similar behavior with my old laptop and pcmcia card. There has 
also been a discussion on the SuSE Linux list regarding DHCP.
One possibility is that the DHCP client is being brought up too early, or 
possibly it is timing out before your server responds with an ip address.

BTW: My laptop running SuSE 8.0 comes up successfully at home at work and 
at Northeastern.
