redhat 7.0 boot hang issue

I had a similar problem installing linux from disk onto a machine with a bad
CD-Rom. I pulled the hard drive out of the machine, installed it in a
different machine that had a working CD-Rom (disconnecting that machine's
drive), and did my linux install. I then swapped the drive back to the
original machine and finished the install. It worked perfectly.

Try that with Windows.
