Linux PCI 802.11b wireless card support (?)

I've had no luck using the orinoco driver for my prism2 device in
my laptop. It just wasn't a stable device. Perhaps I should try
again once I upgrade to RH9.

The cool thing about the wlan-ng driver that I use is that it's
pre-configured for all the different networks that I use and will
auto-scan for them whenver it comes up. So, every time I resume
out of suspend mode it scans the wlan freqs for one of my known
networks and configures itself (wep or non-wep) accordingly.

The only problem I've had with the wlan-ng driver is trying to
run a network sniffer on a VERY busy (read: mostly saturated with
80-100 clients per AP across several dozen APs!) 802.11 network.
I'm told, however, that my problem is a prism firmware problem and
not a driver problem.

So, I don't know what problems you've had with the wlan-ng driver,
but it "seems to work for me."
