Is RedHat 9 stable?

I'm running it just fine on 3 systems, the most lowly of which is 500MHz,
256MB RAM @ 92Mhz, Voodoo3 3000 video card.

RH9 runs great and I can't complain about performance even on the lowliest
machine.
I can only guess that people who think it's "slow" are in the habit of
constantly opening and closing apps (old Windows habits or running less
than 256M :-)
