Actually, the copies of SuSE that they sell here in the United States DO 
have video program restrictions. (For instance, the version of xine in 
the 8.2 distro doesn't have the dvdnav plugin.) But it's easy to 
download the necessary RPMs to add the missing features from their 
German sites.
