CUPs Print Accounting System

To all:

My name is Ralph Fasano, I'm the Associate VP for Computer & Network
Services at Rhode Island School of Design, in Providence, RI. We are
looking at installing a print accounting system --- hopefully CUPS based
to handle over 250 lab computers around campus. Although we currently
use MAC Administrator for MAC Labs, we need a cross platform print
accounting since we also run Windows machines as well. Although we have
found information about CUPS and the ESP Software Product,
http://www.easysw.com/index.php -- we don't really have the necessary
expertise in Linux or available staff to devote to this very important
project. We have a deadline of September 2004 for implementation, which
means that we need a system in place for testing this summer.
Subsequent to LAB printers we would also like to expand this system
campus-wide.

Can you or anyone you know help us with this project?
