We have several open slots in January, February and April. Dave Butenhof 
still works for HP, and I could possibly get him down here one night, or I 
could do a presentation myself since I've done quite a bit of threads 
programming. 

Another possible idea to expand on what you suggest above, is how to 
configure and build a Linux kernel, aimed more at the end user. That could 
also include an explanation of what device drivers and kernel modules are. 
(That could also be a topic for Linux Soup).
