local access rights to *nix boxes

Root access on all Linux boxes -- root on all other UNIX systems in this
facility, no root on production UNIX systems (only Linux). No windows
domain admin rights (local admin on a lot of systems in this building
only). I have what I need and if I don't need it, I don't want it.

Also, if I'm supporting it, they're not having root unless we have gone
through big pains to secure what little access they are given. Having
said this, I will also help anyone in the building install Linux on a
machine that they can have root on so long as we don't have to support
it. Even then, we try to at least give guidance and semi-automate
security patches. There is at least one of those cases.

Steve
