How old is that equipment.
At one time I had an AUI based cable modem with an AUI-10base2 transceiver
to connect to by thin-wire ethernet network. Later I used a AUI-10baseT
transceiver.
But, I have never connected 2 AUI ports together with the appropriate cable.
