Data recovery

Would someone please suggest good data recovery software for Linux
ext3.  My nearly new Western Digital hard drive crashed.  Fsck will
not work.  Western Digital recovery tools will not work.  I can boot
to another drive and access a few files in the bad drive but that is
about it.  I am running Debian Sarge with a Western Digital IDE drive.
